Moving

I’m sure some have noticed that my site keeps going down. My apologies. I will be moving from HostGator over to LiquidWeb, where I should of gone to begin with. I’ve put in my order and am just waiting on a confirmation call.

The site may be up and down while the nameservers propagate, but it shouldn’t be that noticeable.

Vacation Time Again!

Doug and I are flying out to meet up with my daughter in Orlando Florida. We’re going to hit Universal Studios and hang out for a few days before heading back out to Knoxville Tennessee. Wish I could say what we’re doing there, but it’s a surprise for my daughter and I’ve no idea if she reads my blog or not hehe (did you see what I did there??). At any rate, I’m very excited and cannot wait to see her again. We’re going to have much much fun!

Fingers crossed that the weather holds up, and they don’t cancel or delay our flight. One minute they say it’s going to snow, and the next minute they’re saying it’ll be clear.

Weekend Getaway

Keith Urban

We’re flying out Friday night to Washington DC then getting a hotel for the night. Driving out the next morning to Charleston West Virginia where we’ll see Little Big Town, Dustin Lynch, and Keith Urban at 7pm at the Civic Center. We’ll head back out to DC on Sunday for another overnight stay where we’ll fly back home Monday morning. Very tight schedule, but also inexpensive for this time of year.

I just reminded Doug that he gave his suitcase to Michael to use for his flight to Tacoma, so we have to go get him another one before Friday.

We’re going to see Keith Urban. Wow!!

My New Office

Needed to post these, too. Doug and I decided to swap offices, and I got the loft that overlooks down into the living room. He used the loft as his office for the last 18 years (he works from home), and it’s funny to watch him go up the stairs and instinctively turn right. He catches himself most times hehe. The reason we swapped is he wanted to be able to close the door during conference calls, which he is on almost daily, for meetings with the folks at Amazon. This way I don’t have to turn off the television or music, and I can continue on about my day without interrupting his work.
