I love re-purposing jars! This use to have peaches in it. It’s funny because now when I go grocery shopping I always look at what the jars look like, and wonder what I can do with it once it’s empty.
A bit of paint on the inside and some bling ribbon attached with hot glue makes a lovely holder for my pens. This was an easy little project.
Decorated Glass Jar
Here are some keychains that I made for the upcoming craft fair in December. I like how the amethyst one looks with the extra Swarovski Crystals added, so I may add a similar design with crystals to the others, too.

I like how Facebook will re-post memories with photos from the previous years. I just saw this one again of Michael when he came to visit 2 years ago. He’s visited again since then when we took him to Universal Studios in Orlando this past April. We took my daughter Mary there last year too where we also flew from Orlando up to Tennessee to see Keith Urban (second time for me lol). I love our vacations every summer! I think we’ll be flying down to Alabama next to visit with Eric and MJ in their newly built house. I’m curious to see what winter looks like there since we’re thinking of possibly moving down there and having a home built (we looked at houses the last time we went to visit).
Here’s Michael right before we were supposed to head out to play paintball. We ended up not going and going somewhere else. I can’t recall where though.
My son Michael
Here’s a photo of what I have so far. I haven’t moved Mal (my betta, Captain Malcolm Reynolds) over just yet. He is currently still in his Current Solo 5 Gallon.
Unfortunately I ordered the wrong lights (they’re an inch too long) so the lights that are in there are for saltwater setups. I have to reorder tomorrow from somewhere else and then wait to get them. UGGG. I’m trying to get an 18 watt 6500K 2G11 4 pin (9″) light.
I purchased another water pump because the one that was in there was designed for a higher flow rate, so I put an AquaScape 90 GPH Water Pump in there, and the flow is adjustable so I was able to set that up just right. Luckily Mal is so easy going that he doesn’t mind a small amount of flow in his tank.
Even though I have an extra 50 watt heater I went ahead and bought a Hydor 50 watt for the tank. Since I am using RO/DI water I need a heater to put in the bucket because the water coming from the RO/DI unit is ice cold. A heater in the bucket of water the night before a water change should warm things right up!

Practicing my wire wrapping skills. Very pleased with my first attempt! (I just used the starfish to prop it up.)
